Edwin Augustus Moore

Edwin Augustus Moore was the son of artist Nelson Augustus Moore (1824-1902) and Ann Maria Pickett Moore (1832-1909). He had three siblings: Ellen Mindwell Moore, Ethelbert Allen Moore, and Alanson Jasper Pickett Moore. Edward Augustus Moore was primarily a painter of animal subjects, especially cows. Some of his paintings were closely based on photographs.
