Phebe Curtis

BiographyPhebe Curtis was born 14 February 1765, the daughter of Sarah Minor Curtiss and David Curtiss of Woodbury, Connecticut. She married Ensign Anthony Strong (1757-1829), a Revolutionary War soldier, of Woodbury, Connecticut, on 13 November 1791. They had three children: Phebe Strong (b. 1792); Anthony Curtiss Strong (b. 1792); and Nathaniel Strong (1794-1811). Phebe Curtis Strong died on 25 March 1836.
