Robert Bakewell

BiographyRobert Bakewell was born in England about 1790 or 1800. He was probably the artist of two Kellogg lithographs which were published in The Journal of Science and Arts in New Haven in 1840 and 1841 and which are signed "R. Bakewell." He was active as a drawing master in New Haven from at least the 1850s through 1870.
