Holmes & Co.

Little is known of Holmes & Co., a firm that published two large Kellogg landscape prints of Norwich and New London. This suggests that the firm was located in southeastern Connecticut, probably in one of these two cities. The name Holmes was prominent in the New London area in the mid-nineteenth century, but also in many other parts of the United States, including New York City and Boston.
