Eliza Shepard

Eliza Shepard was born in 1800, the daughter of Mary Webster Shepard (1772-1848) and Phineas Shepard (1766-1840). She married Julius Gilman (1799-1886) in 1824. Her husband was a publisher and bookbinder in Hartford, Connecticut. They had at least two children, George Shepard Gilman (1825-1886) and Mary Webster Gilman Knight (1846-1911). Eliza Shepard Gilman died in 1884.
