BiographyChloe Bement (or possibly Bemont) was the daughter of Jonathan Bement. She married Oliver Gilman (1766-1834). They had at least one son, Julius Gilman (1799-1886), who married Eliza Shepard (1800-1884). Chloe Bement Gilman died 12 December 1808 at age 41; she is buried in East Hartford, Connecticut.
