BiographyDr. William Augustus Muhlenberg Wainwright married Helen Barker Talcott (b. 1842) in 1869. His wife was a direct descendant of Governor Joseph Talcott (1669-1741) of Connecticut. They had at least two children, Elizabeth Mayhew Wainwright Hall (1878-1942) and Jonathan Mayhew Wainwright.
