BiographyElizur Goodrich was the son of Hannah Welles Goodrich (1760-1844) and Simeon Goodrich (1762-1847). He first married Jerusha Welles Stillman (1803-1835), and they had a son named Elizur Stillman Goodrich. His second wife was Prudence Buck Fortune (1809-1864); together, they had a son, Riley Fortune Goodrich (1848-1937).
