Tryon Art Studio is listed in the Hartford City Directories from 1916 until 1918. There is no proprietor listed in 1916, but in 1917 an S. Bayere is listed as propietor. He is listed however in the same directory as Stanley Bayers, photographer, living at 709 Main Street, Hartford. In 1918 the propietor of the business is listed as a Fred E. Simon. The only similar name in that directory is a Frederick E. Simon, who is listed as working at Aetna Life Insurance, and living at upper 339 Jefferson St., he is not listed as a photographer. There is no listing for Tryon Art Studio in 1919, however Stanley Beyers is listed as continuing his photographic service.
