Roger Williams Cheney
Roger Williams Cheney born on 23 September 1907 in Manchester, Connecticut. He was the son of Horace Bushnell Cheney (1868-1936) and Mary Caroline Pierson (1874-1949).
He was an artist, and painted and designed textiles for McCrossen Bros. He attended the Kingswood School in West Hartford, Connecticut and St. Paul's School in Concord, New Hampshire. He graduated from Yale University in 1931.
On 23 June 1933, he married Suzanne Bagley Wallace (1912-1940) in Washington D. C. They moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico. They had a son named Stephen Pierson Cheney (1936-2012), after Roger's brother. On 13 March 1944, Roger married for the second time to Louise (Rosenthal) Kaufman (1907-1986) in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
He died on 13 April 1990 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
