BiographyBernadine Neville Covello (3 Dec. 1903 - 17 Aug. 1993) was born in Quebec, Canada to Georgiana Roy Neville and Alfred T. Neville. They moved to Hartford, Connecticut in 1906. She attended Hartford High School.
She married Frank Covello (1899 - 11 Dec. 1972), a Superior Court judge. They had two children: Carolyn C. Keating and Alfred V. Covello.
She was active in Hartford-area civic affairs. She was a president of the Hartford Republican Women's Club and was a founder and first president of the Women's Committee of the Wadsworth Atheneum. She was also an active member of the Connecticut Historical Society and the Hartford Audubon Society.
