Frank Dexter Cheney Jr.

Frank Dexter Cheney Jr. was born in Manchester, Connecticut on 5 November 1905. He was the son of Sara Otis Amory and Frank Dexter Cheney, Sr. He had four siblings: Rosalie Amory Cheney Fiske (1906-1999); Amory Cheney Marshall (1909-1999); Hope Amory Cheney Talcott (1913-1940); and Edward Amory Cheney (1918-1971).

Known as "Deck," he married Kathleen Irene Hunter Attfield on July 10, 1948 at Lawrence, Long Island, New York. His wife was born in Liverpool, England on April 10, 1910. They had two sons: Ward Amory Dexter Cheney (b. 1950) and Hugh Amory Hunter Cheney (b. 1951).
