Lucia Ann Loomis

Lucia Ann Loomis was born 10 April 1846 in Huntsburg, Ohio. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Loomis (1811-1891) and Cynthia Griffith Loomis (1826-1885). Her father was from New Hartford, Connecticut. She married Daniel James McDonald (b.1838) of Schenectady, New York on 27 December 1864. They were married in Woodstock, McHenry County, Illinois. Lucia Ann Loomis McDonarld had three children: George Pembroke McDonald (b. 1866); Frederick Griffith McDonald (b.1870) and Carl Loomis McDonald (b.1878). She died on 5 April 1927 in Buchanan County, Idaho. The Loomis family more than likely hailed from Windsor, Connecticut, at some point in the seventeenth or eighteenth centuries.
