BiographyMary Woodruff was the adoptive daughter of Miles and Isabinda Peck Lewis. Her mother was the sister of Isabinda Peck Lewis. When her adoptive father died in 1851, the Miles Lewis house (the site of the American Clock and Watch Museum today) became Mary Woodruff's property, at least for use during her lifetime. Mary Lewis Woodruff never married; she died on 10 August 1880.
