BiographyHenry Lucius Hotchkiss was born 18 December 1842. He married Jane Louisa Fitch Trowbridge, the great granddaughter of Noah Webster, in 1875. Henry Lucius Hotchkiss was president of L. Candee & Co., a New Haven rubber company, and the Union Trust Company. He was a descendant of Samuel Hotchkiss, one of the original planters in New Haven, Connecticut.
