Fanny Gaylord

BiographyFanny Gaylord was born on 10 November 1801, the daughter of Elijah Gaylord and Esther Loomis Gaylord of Torringford, Connecticut. On 11 May 1824, she married Roderick Bissell (1796-1875), the son of Lucretia Spencer Bissell and Ezekiel Bissell, Jr. They had six children: Dr. Gaylord Giles; Mary Jane (Mrs. Merritt Bronson); Charles Roderick, M.D.; John Edgar; Esther Ann; and Virgil Rollin Bissell. Fanny Gaylord Bissell died on 22 May 1891.
