Roderick Bissell

BiographyRoderick Bissell was born on 17 July 1796, the son of Ezekiel Bissell II and Lucretia Spencer Bissell of Torringford, Connecticut. On 11 May 1824, he married Fanny Gaylord (1801- 1891). They had six children: Dr. Gaylord Giles; Mary Jane (Bronson); Charles Roderick, M.D.; John Edgar; Esther Ann; and Virgil Rollin Bissell. Roderick Bissell died on 10 February 1875 and was buried in Torringford Cemetary.
