Henry Thompson Curtiss

Henry Thompson Curtiss was born 22 March 1751, a member of the Curtiss family of Stratford, Connecticut. He married Phebe Sherman (d. 1826), the daughter of Ebenezer Sherman, in December 1778. They had nine children: Elijah (b. 1779); Abiah (b. 1782); Anna (1784-1871); Phebe (1787-1864); Betsey (bp. 1790-1843); Harriet (d. in infancy 1793); Henry (b. 1795); George (1798-1822); and Eliza (d. in infancy 1800). Henry Thompson Curtiss died 18 April 1814.
