Clara Eglantine Comstock

BiographyClara Eglantine Comstock was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on 5 April 1866. She was the daughter of Cornelia Guild Davis Comstock and Charles Carter Comstock. Her father was an Episcopal minister who graduated from Trinity College in 1854. Clara Comstock married Huntley Sigourney Russell (1858-1928) in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on 1 September 1884. He was the son of Reverend Francis Thayer Russell and Mary Huntley Sigourney Russell. Clara and Huntley Russell had two children: Francis Thayer Russell and Charles Comstock Russell (1886-1967).
