Charles Edmund Kellogg

American, 1839 - 1933
BiographyCharles Edmund Kellogg was the son of Edmund Burke Kellogg. From 1861 to 1862, he worked for the family lithography firm, E. B. & E. C. Kellogg, as a sales agent. After serving in the Civil War, he returned to Hartford, Connecticut and on 13 November 1865, he became a limited partner in the firm. From 1868 to 1871, he was a full partner in Kellogg & Bulkeley. He continued to work for The Kellogg & Bulkeley Company until 1874, when he left and opened a novelty shop in West Hartford, Connecticut. In 1888, he moved to Stafford Springs, Connecticut where he raised fruits and vegetables for the market.
