Dr. Daniel Caulkins

BiographyDr. Daniel Caulkins was the son of Amos and Mary Caulkins of New London, Connecticut. He moved to the Flanders section of East Lyme, Connecticut, in 1777, with his first wife, Mary. She died later that year, and in 1778 he remarried Elizabeth Smith Moore (1749-1839), widow of Elisha Moore (d. 1773).
