Ariel Lawrence

BiographyAriel Lawrence was the son of Samuel and Patience Bigelow Lawrence of Killingly, in eastern Connecticut. The family moved to Simsbury, northwest of Hartford, about 1755. Ariel married Lucy Wilcox of Simsbury in 1762 and moved to Norfolk. He left the area in 1799, possibly moving to Oneida, New York, where the name appears on the census of 1800.
