Captain Aaron Bissell Jr.

Captain Aaron Bissell, Jr. was born 27 July 1761, the son of Captain Aaron Bissell, Sr. (1722-1787) and Dorothy Stoughton Bissell. He had at least one brother, Epaphrus Bissell. He married Naomi Tudor of East Windsor, and they had seven children. Their fifth child was Maria Bissell (1793-1848), who died unmarried. Their sixth child was Edgar Bissell (1800-1888). Captain Bissell kept the Bissell Tavern in East Windsor. He died 7 December 1834.
