Ellen Maria Sheldon

Ellen Maria Sheldon was the daughter of Charlana Cady Sheldon (1817-1869) and David Holmes Sheldon. She lived in Hartland, Barhamsted, Connecticut, and she was a descendent of the Sheldon family of Deerfield, Massachusetts, the frontier settlement attacked by Indians on 29 March 1704. Ellen Sheldon married Dwight S. Case (1843-1941). They had three sons: Frank D. Case; Archer M. Case; and Harold S. Case.
