BiographyEllen M. Bellows was born in Middletown, Connecticut. She married Edward G. Robbins of Rocky Hill. They had one daughter, Elinor M. Robbins (born 9 January 1858). Mrs. Robbins died at the home of her daughter, Elinor Robins Griswold, in Hartford, Connecticut, in 1899. She was buried in Spring Grove Cemetery.
