Daniel Wright Kellogg

Daniel Wright Kellogg, lithographer and print publisher, was born 21 July 1807 in Tolland, Connecticut. He studied lithography in Boston and settled in Hartford about 1830, establishing the firm D.W. Kellogg & Co. Although he is said to have gone west in 1836, the firm retained his name until 1840, when it became E.B. & E.C. Kellogg. Daniel Wright Kellogg settled in the Pewaukee and Delafield area of Wisconsin, where he married and had two daughters. He died in Jefferson, Wisconsin on 28 December 1874.
