BiographyEsther Colt was born on 6 January 1885 in Farmington, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Samuel Caldwell Colt (1841-1915) and Mary Malvina Goodwin (1847-1939). She had six siblings: Samuel Theodore Colt (1864-1931), Sidney Goodwin Colt (1871-1873), Harriet Anulette Colt Miller (1874-1947), David Hill Colt (1876-1950), Mary Elizabeth Colt Halton (1879-1958), and Harold Gillette Colt (1882-1952). She died on 23 March 1964 and is buried at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Hartford, Connecticut.
