Erastus Wheeler Geer

Erastus Wheeler Geer was born on 15 September 1830 in Norwich, Connecticut. He was the son of Erastus Geer (1803-1878) and Eliza Bateman. He had two siblings: Martha Geer and George Henry Geer.

He married Mary E. Brown (b. 1834). They had five children: Charles Winslow Geer (b. 1855), Hattie Elizabeth Geer (b. 1857), Washington Lafayette Geer (b. 1859), Frank Elmer Geer (b. 1861), and Henry Cross Geer (b. 1865).
