Sally Maria Geer

Sally Maria Geer was born on 5 May 1808 in Norwich, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Wheeler Geer (1773-1854) and Sally Roath (1777-1850). She had nine siblings: Oliver Geer (1800-1831), Elizabeth Geer (1802-1875), Erastus Geer (1803-1878), George William Geer (1806-1886), William Wheeler Geer (1810-1847), Levi Orson Merrels Geer (1812-1851), Jeremiah Cleveland Geer (1815-1894), Henry Branch Geer (1818-1846), and Martha Alma Geer (1821-1822).

She married Captain Edward Smith (1803-1872) on 8 January 1803. They had nine children: Sally Ann Maria Smith (1827-1830), Francis Edward Smith (1829-1831), Sally Maria Smith (b. 1831), Edward Smith (b. 1833), Francis Smith (1835-1876), Adelaide Elizabeth Smith (b. 1838), Harriet Anna Smith (b. 1840), Jedediah Smith (1843-1870), and Oliver Merrels Smith (b. 1846).

She died on 1 December 1873 in Norwich, Connecticut.
