Beatrice Silverman GoldAmerican, 1913 - 1989

Beatrice Silverman Gold taught at Brackett School and Northeast Junior High School in Hartford, Connecticut. In 1927, she became principal of the Walter G. Camp School. In 1934, she became vice principal of the Arsenal School and later appointed principal of the Brackett School. In 1939, she left the school system and married psychiatrist, Dr. Louis Gold (d. 1984). They had one son, Thomas Leslie Gold (1940-2015).

She was a member of the Hartford Board of Education from 1953 to 1958 and served as president of the Women's Auxiliary of the Hartford County Medical Society. She served as the head of volunteer services at Mount Sinai Hospital in Hartford from 1961 to 1967.

She died on 20 February 1989 in Hartford, Connecticut.
