BiographyZechariah Mills and Company was owned by Zechariah Mills (1770-1851). The company was a manufacturer and retailer of wallpaper, trunks, bandboxes, and later books. Mills worked in Hartford in various locations from 1793-1815. Trunks offered were described as "strong traveling, hair, black and marbled, leather, oil cloth, seal skin, or paper covered."
