American, 1793 - 1845
BiographyTruman Taylor was born in June 1793. He was the son of Daniel Taylor (1791-1831) and Ruhamah Ellis (1763-1853). Truman Taylor attended the American Asylum for the Deaf and Dumb (now the American School for the Deaf). He died on 19 February 1845 in Berlin, Vermont from a falling tree while he was felling trees alone in the woods.
