BiographyEmily Woodbridge Pitkin Cheney was born on 1 February 1825. She was the daughter of Horace Pitkin (1789-1864) and Emily Woodbridge Pitkin (1791-1874).
She married Seth Wells Cheney (1810-1856) in 1847 and died of tuberculosis a few years later on 11 May 1850. They had no children. Seth Wells Cheney later remarried, to Ednah Dow Littlehale (1824-1904).
