BiographyEmily Frances Cheney was born on 23 January 1836 to George Wells Cheney (1799-1841) and Mary Wilson Cheney (1801-1886). Her older brothers were George Wells Cheney (1825-1893) and John Sherwood Cheney (1827-1910).
She married Philip Woolsey Hudson (1840-1913), possibly in 1861. She died on 14 March 1876.
