Isaac Pierce

In 1851, Isaac Pierce and Gad Norton formed the firm of Pierce and Norton, which founded Lake Compounce in Bristol, Connecticut. Lake Compounce remained under the ownership of Pierce and Norton until 1966, when Edward G. Pierce, Isacc's grandson, sold his interests to the Norton family.
