BiographyThe Calhoun Brothers printing house was founded in 1852 in Hartford, Connecticut by Alexander and Robert Calhoun. The company later changed its name to Calhoun Steam Printing Company. The company specialized in printing large-scale posters, theatrical broadsides, and circus and carnival posters in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. William F. Cody, known as Buffalo Bill, was a well-known customer.
