Gould Smith Clark

Gould Smith Clark was born on 12 March 1814 in Prospect, Connecticut. He was the son of Merit Clark (1788-1867) and Keturah Smith (1790-1870). He had three siblings: Julia Clark Skilton (1811-1836), Merritt Clark (1818-1894), and Emily L. Clark Skilton (1822-1908).

He married Maria H. Skilton (1812-1897) in 1840. They had three children: Julia M. Clark (1842-1860), Emily E. Clark (1843-1891), and Artison Skilton Clark (1849-1937).

He died on 17 November 1899 in Middlebury, Connecticut.
