Ada Jane Naylor was born in 1868 in Manchester, Connecticut. She was the daughter of William Naylor (1843-1917) and Mary Ann Lusty (1834-1917). She had three siblings: William Addison Naylor, Lilla Francis Naylor Pease (1871-1952), and Edmund Charles Naylor (1872-1892).
She married Herbert E. Coburn (1868-1910). They had at least three children: Herbert W. Coburn, Edmond N. Coburn, and Mabel F. Coburn Barker.
She died in 1947.
