Emily C. Edson

Emily Josephine (Chase) Edson was born on 8 August 1850 in Killingly, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Emily Fuller Chase (1817-1851) and Samuel Covell Chase (1817-1900). ). She had two siblings, Samuel Oscar Chase (1842-1884) and Lucy Ann Chase (1837-1915), and one half-sibling, Rufus R. Chase (1858-1938).

She married William E. Edson (1845-1903). They had at least three children: William C. Edson (1870-1944), Elmer L. Edson (b. 1877), and Mertie Edson Wilcox (b. 1880).

She died on 26 September 1896 in Connecticut.
