George Kellogg Colt

George Kellogg Colt (26 Oct. 1838 - 17 April 1890) was the son of Henry Colt (1800-1876) and Chloe Catlin (1805-1884). He was born in Torrington, Connecticut, but spent most of his life in Winsted.

He had four siblings: Henry Gillette Colt (1832-1897), Maria Chloe Colt Strong (1834-1865), Emerette Lois Colt Strong (1841-1924), and Luman Catlin Colt (1849-1932).

He married Margarette Esther Griswold (1843-1915). They had one daughter, Julia Maria Colt Loomis (1867-1943).
