Emerette Strong

Emerette (Colt) Strong (21 Nov. 1841 - 5 Aug. 1924) was the daughter of Henry Colt (1800-1876) and Chloe Catlin (1805-1884). She had four siblings: Henry Gillette Colt (1832-1897), Maria Chloe Colt Strong (1834-1865), George Kellogg Colt (1838-1890), and Luman Catlin Colt (1849-1932).

She married David Strong (1825-1914) in 1866. They had five children: Frederick C. Strong (1867-1953), Arthur David Strong (1870-1871), Herbert Gillett Strong (1871-1955), Walter Colt Strong (1875-1877), and Homer David Strong (1879-1954).
