Charles C. Zimmerman

Charles C. Zimmerman, born Columbus Americas Charles Zimmerman, (26 June 1903 - 24 March 1998) was born in New York, soon after his mother immigrated from Germany. He was the son of Charles E. Zimmerman (b. 1868) and Anna Schmidt (b. 1877), both born in Germany. Anna was pregnant with Charles when she immigrated to the United States, and her husband stayed behind in Germany. He married Annie Ruth Gause (1908-2008) on 27 October 1967.
