Elizabeth "Betty" Catherine Barron (29 April 1896 - 31 May 1989) was born in Voluntown, Connecticut. She was the daughter of William Hadley Barron (1866-1946) and Sarah Lillian Briggs (1871-1942). She had one sister, Margaret Briggs Barron (1898-1903).
She married Dr. Henry Ezra Gallup (1899-1988). They had at least one child, Dr. John William Gallup (1929-2021).
