John Dwight Parker

John Dwight Parker was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts on 9 April 1850. He was the son of John Churchill Parker and Lydia A. Parker. He had two siblings: Fulton Churchill Parker (1851-1910) and Caroline (Carrie) Goodrich Parker Smart (1861-1944).

He married Caroline Anna Goodwin (1859-1937) on 12 October 1880 in Rutland, Vermont. They had four children: May Clement Parker Reed (1881-1961), Helen Parker Wayne (1883-1980), Katharine Goodwin Parker Cheney (1890-1973), and Caroline Parker Smith Chubb (1897-1938).

He was Assistant Secretary of Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company.

He died 6 November 1919 in Hartford, Connecticut.
