Edward J. Rogalski
American, 1929 - 2020
He spent a year in the Naval Reserves before enlisting in the U.S. Army to serve two campaigns in the Korean War as a neuropsychiatric medical technician.
After discharging from the Army, Rogalski enrolled at St. Elizabeth's Hospital School of Nursing and graduated in 1956. He then had a career as a Registered Nurse working at Norwich State Hospital for 27 years and at Mental Health at Backus Hospital for 17 years.
He was a founding member of the Norwich Historical Society. Much of his research on Norwich was donated to the Otis Library in Norwich.
