Katharine Anna Klauder

Katharine Anna Klauder was born on May 30, 1877. Her grandfather Tobias Klauder was born in Osthofen, Germany, and he emigrated to the United States in 1844. The Ockert family was one of a number of German emigrant families in New Haven, Connecticut. They lived in what the family always referred to as the "Dutch Block," on Nichols Street in New Haven. Katharine Anne Klauder married Charles Ockert on September 24, 1901. He was the president of the Ockert Safe Company of New Haven, Connecticut. Katharine Anna Klauder Ockert died on January 7, 1910.
