Marion Cheney
Marion Cheney was born on 18 September 1897. She was the daughter of Charles Cheney (1866-1942) and Mary Lydia Brainard (1867-1900). She had one brother, Ward Cheney (1899-1963). She had three half-siblings: Barbara Cheney Watkins (1904-1985), Maribel Cheney Humpstone (1905-1997), and Sylvia Cheney (1912-1916).
Marion married Dr. Edmund G. Rhodebeck (1894-1952) of Flushing, New York on 16 June 1920. (South Manchester "Brief State News" published in the "Norwich Bulletin" on June 1, 1920.) They had two children together: Pieter Cheney Rhodebeck (1921-1973) and Charles Cheney Rhodebeck (1922-2007), both later Dennis. They were divorced in 1926.
She was then married to Rodney Gove Dennis (1896-1966) in September of 1927. Marion and Rodney had a daughter, Faith Cheney Dennis (1928-2003), and a son, Rodney Gove Dennis, Jr. (1930-2006).
Marion died on 5 October 1976.
