BiographyRev. José A. Negrón Cruzado (14 Nov. 1914 - April 2007) was born in Manati, Puerto Rico. He was the son of Aquilino Negrón and Maria Cruzado. He served with the U.S. Army at Pearl Harbor during World War II. He married Dorcas Rosario. He moved to the United States in 1955 with his wife and children. He served as a minister to the first Puerto Rican Protestant congregation at Central Baptist Church in Hartford and as a chaplain to migrant workers in tobacco camps.
