Alice Jeanette Norton

Alice Jeanette Norton (28 January 1845 - 19 November 1911) was the daughter of Gad (1815-1898) and Mary W. Norton (1817-1905). She had four siblings: Marshall P. (1842-1914), Asher (1843-1844), Julius Gad (1847-1871), and Gilbert E. Norton (1852-1926). She never married.

Her father was one of the original owners of Lake Compounce in Bristol, Connecticut. Alice was an artist and author. She wrote the book, "Compounce, 1846-1902," a history of the Lake Compounce Amusement Park.
