BiographyDr. Andrew Abernathy was born in Harwinton, Connecticut, on 28 June 1782. He was the son of Dr. William and Honor Catlin Abernathy. He married Sophia Wells (1789-1851), the daughter of Captain Benjamin Wells, in New Hartford, Connecticut, in January 1811. Dr. Andrew Abernathy died 18 June 1867.
